The effect of a particular season is also considered while prescribing a diet. Diet is advised on the basis of the nature of the body of an individual. The counselling is done with an approach to provide nutrition as per the philosophy of panchmahabhutas and tridoshas to keep one’s nature intact and thus keep a person healthy by managing a person’s physical, mental and emotional needs.
