Viddhagni Chikitsa

Viddha means puncture and Agni means fire, in English it could be termed as fire needling. A very effective and safe therapy for the treatment of pain, this therapy includes application of needles over the painful area which are then heated up on with the help of candles or indirectly by the moxa sticks. These days electric Viddhagni yantras are used for this purpose. At sensitive areas needle is even not applied, rather it is only touched to the skin and treatment is done. Results are expected as soon as the therapy gets over.
